In many applications in E-Government as well as in the business world it is necessary that electronic documents do not only carry
an electronic signature of the originator but also a tamper-proof time information documenting – e.g. for complying a term – when
an electronic document has been originated or when it was received.
The BEV - Bundesamt für Eich- und Vermessungs-wesen has installed a qualified time-stamp appliance service (TSA, QZSD) and offers it to the public.
This service runs under Policy OID [1.2.40.0.10.1.8.1] and complies with the strict conditions of the Signaturgesetz (law on signature)
and the Signaturverordnung 2008 (ordinance on signature).
A provision for test purposes (free of charge) is possible for those who
are interested.
The qualified time-stamp appliance service of the BEV can be ordered in quota of various sizes. Further
